Death Valley 2003 Photo Gallery

     These are photographs from my November 2003 trip to Death Valley.   As my photographic skills and composition continue to grow I continue to challenge myself and take trips which will take me out of my comfort zone of Carolina's Nature Photography.  In Death Valley my goal was to work on Black and White Compositions as well as using textures and patterns for Abstract Compositions.

Vermont 2004 Photo Gallery

     These are photographs from my October 2004 trip to Stowe, Vermont.  I had a short stay in Vermont so I stuck to what I know.  This part of Vermont was very similar to the Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina.  I was hoping to locate a Moose while I was there but unfortunately the didn't cooperate with my plans so fortunately there were several waterfalls and streams close to Stowe where I spent most of my time shooting.  I hope you enjoy.

California 2005 Photo Gallery

     These are photographs from my trip to California in January 2005.  My trip began when I arrived in Long Beach where I shot locally for a couple of days.  I enjoy visiting the Bolsa Chica Lagoon South of Huntington Beach to photograph seabirds.  My next goal was to shoot some photos in the high desert.  I was lucky that Photographer Don Gale was having a workshop the same weekend so I signed up and got a great refresher of the basics.  Don's workshop started from Lone Pine each day where we worked in Alabama Hills at the base of Mount Whitney and Lone Pine Peak.   I enjoyed Don's Workshop so if you would like to photograph in this area I recommend you take the trip with him.  After shooting there for a couple days the workshop ended and  I headed for Joshua Tree National Park.  I only had a day at Joshua Tree and not so good weather conditions as the rains were heading back in.  I plan on returning to Joshua Tree next year and I hope to spend a few days there shooting.   Please enjoy!

Michigan 2005 Photo Gallery
     These are photographs from my trip to Michigan in August of 2005.  Here I wanted to concentrate on photographing lighthouses as well as beachscapes.  I also photographed some of my usual subjects like waterfalls.  Enjoy!

Arizona 2005 Photo Gallery
     These are photographs from my trip to Arizona in October of 2005.  Here I wanted to concentrate on photographing the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon.   Enjoy!

These are photographs from my trip to San Diego, California in January of 2007.   I worked around the Tide Pools at Point Loma and Lajolla.  I also took a two day trip to Joshua Tree National Park.
